Youth and children are a very important and special part of the activities of the Campground. Youth and children's encampments are held annually during Camp Meeting.
These events include local mission work, praise and worship, study time and good ole' fun. Area United Methodist youth workers, along with the Trustees, sponsor the event.
The site has adopted a Safe Sanctuary policy that protects young children and youth from abuse. This policy outlines chaperone guidelines, background checks, and other important children
protection policies. This policy can be found in the "Forms" and "Policies" section on this website.
Youth Camp (EYC) 2024
Welcome to Youth Camp (EYC) 2024... Like each July in the past, we are once again excited about Youth Camp this year! Our staff is looking forward to the opportunity to continuing the "tradition" of overnight camp as we have done for many years.
We know that this year is going to be one filled with excitement, joy, and connection as youth from various churches experience "camp" with friends on the grounds of the histroric Effingham Methodist Campground.
Registration is available online and open to youth who are rising 6th - 12th grade.
Cost for Youth Camp is $55 - Payments WILL BE MADE AT CHECK-IN
We want to provide a Youth Camp experience that is safe, meaningful, fun, and filled with memories. As a Youth Camp Staff, we appreciate you entrusting your youth to our care.
